EDUCATION.  William Trott earned a B.S. (Magna Cum Laude) in Engineering, an M.S. in Water Resources Systems, and  Ph.D. in Water Resources Systems, all at UCLA. 

EXPERIENCE.  Dr. Trott has more than 37 years of experience as a Civil Engineer, specializing in hydrology and hydraulics.  He has been employed by UCLA, Environmental Dynamics, ASA, Psomas, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sikand, Hlubik, Tetra Tech, Mono Lake Committee, and Calleguas Water District between 1970 and the present. 

CURRENT AFFILIATIONS. Since 1974, he has been a Professor, Department of Civil Engineering and Environmental Science, Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, where he teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in hydrology, hydraulics, computer modeling, water resources planning and design, engineering economy, and water resources economics.  He was Chairperson of the Civil Engineering Department from 1997 until 2008.

Dr. Trott has been the Principal Hydrologic Expert Witness for  American Weather & Hydrology, LLC, California Weather & Earth Sciences, LLC, Associated Science Experts, LLC, and their predecessors since 1990.
